From 1991 through the present Fishbone has managed a business selling art-related gift items to museums and shops around the world. From his experiences as an entrepreneur, he is writing a book and doing an accompanying talk entitled: “SELLING THE SCREAM: How to Turn Your Crazy Idea into a Million Bucks!”. He learned everything the hard way, one mistake after another, and still managed to create a company respected for the quality of its products and excellent customer service. Using his skills as a storyteller and musician, Fishbone makes his entertaining presentation come alive through songs and anecdotes. He talks about the problems he faced and the innovative solutions he developed that anyone would want to know before venturing up the entrepreneur’s path or would want to be reminded of if already in business.
This talk is available as a Keynote Performance and is also available for Arts and Small Business Organizations, and anyone curious about the collision of art and business.
