“Fishbone has a real gift for teaching these drumming circles, people are amazed at how the group sounds at the end of the session… it facilitates a connection between people….it takes you out of your business thinking and into a different world.”
Ken Goldman, CFO – BrandLauncher

Have you ever felt stuck for a solution to a problem?  Wondered how to advance your team’s goals in new ways? Interested in bringing together people with diverse needs and views? Just want to reduce stress?

Imagine unleashing creativity, improving communication, building a stronger team and enhancing self-worth all in one session.  An innovative approach to team work can break a stranglehold on the status quo and advance relationships on teams of all kinds including boards, committees, or in the workplace. Research proves that facilitated drumming can stimulate conversations and further relationships, even in one to two hours.  As an ice-breaker to open a meeting or event, it can take place in as little as 30 minutes. The scores of facilitated drumming events Fishbone has led clear away roadblocks, allowing organizations to be more interactive, more responsive and more responsible.

With 40 years as a serial entrepreneur he knows all about business challenges. And with a lifetime as a musician and instrument collector, he knows how to make it easy and fun. More than a passing fad, corporate and office drumming events are happening across the US and around the world.

Ideal for 10-20 participants at a time, though larger groups can be accommodated. This is for the St. Louis area only, and specifically designed to take place in your own work space; it is also possible to arrange for a different location, such as an event space where you are hosting a meeting or celebration. All professional quality instruments and instruction are provided.  Everyone can participate since no musical experience, talent or aptitude is needed, and there is a fast learning curve.

Group Drumming Emphasizes Support and Personal/Group Expression

“The use of rhythm-based events in a variety of government, healthcare, community and corporate settings, meetings, and retreats is expanding. Weekly employee drum circles are now being held by leading Fortune 500 companies who are firmly committed to team-building and employee satisfaction. The utilization of rhythm-based protocols in these settings has resulted in a substantial reduction of personal barriers that impede optimal communications, creativity, and team-building…”

“Group drumming has been demonstrated to be easily learned in a non-pressured manner. Based upon techniques that build upon entrainment, modulation, call and response, and self-expression, rhythm-based sessions expand opportunities for expressing and dealing with the pressures and stresses of daily living. The defining philosophy of a successful group-drumming intervention emphasizes support and personal/group expression, rather than mastery”, (meaning no musical experience is necessary at all).”
